Why get your new bedroom or kitchen from AVK Interiors?
You wouldn't buy a car from a greengrocer or builders merchant so why would you buy a bedroom or kitchen from them? We have been manufacturing furniture - and only furniture - since 1991. We are bedroom and kitchen specialists.
We manufacture all of our own carcases from 18mm furniture grade MFC (including the backs) in a wood-grain finish which means you get a solid, durable ready-assembled frame to mount the doors on. Many companies use inferior white 15mm MFC which you have to assemble yourself, as they say it's only the doors that matter. This is not so. If the carcase is not solid, then over time the doors will begin to drop and hinges will pull out.
As manufacturers of our own carcases, we can build the size the that you want, so you are not restricted to off-the-shelf sizes.
We are also distributors for most of the major door manufacturers in the UK and can supply any door in any colour, style or size. The only limit is your imagination.
At AVK Interiors we can "Supply-Only" ready-built units for you or your builder to install or we can undertake the installation on your behalf, including any tiling, electrical or gas work required by qualified and certified tradesmen.
We do not do "Hard Sell". Our experienced Designer will measure your bedroom or kitchen and provide you with a quotation and hand-drawn sketch of our proposal. We will not continuously contact you and pressurise you into a sale - we believe our proposal and price will sell itself.
We believe that our quoted price is a fair price for the work and do not give an artificially high price and then offer a discount if you "buy it now". We do not do sales or gimmicks and the price we quote is the price you pay. There are no hidden extras either - our quote will be for the complete bedroom or kitchen, including any trims, plinths etc required.
Some people believe that the DIY companies are cheap and that bespoke companies such as AVK Interiors are expensive. This is not necessarily so. As our overheads are much lower than the large multi-nationals and because we manufacture our own carcases, we are very competitive as regards price.
When comparing an AVK kitchen with others, ask yourself the following:
- Are the carcases solid?
- Does the design use the optimum size available, or does it have gaps where a standard unit size will not fit properly?
- Am I happy with all of the design and finish or have I had to compromise anywhere on what I wanted?
- Do all the doors and drawers have a soft-close motion?
- Does the price include all of the plinths, cornices, end panels, trim etc that I need?
- Are there any hidden extra costs such as delivery charges?
- Do they install the kitchen themselves? If not, who do I contact if something goes wrong?
- Will they do all of the work that is required, including plumbing, gas, electrical and tiling or will I have to find someone else to complete the work?
- Am I confident in the abilities of the company I am dealing with? Do their "experts" have a background in Kitchen Design and Installation?
- Do I have to pay for it all up-front? What happens if they go bankrupt? (Even a company as big as MFI went into receivership, leaving thousands of people with no goods that they had already paid for).
